NEWEST PROJECTS AT THE BOTTOM

—————————————————————————————————————————

This page is for assignments that I have completed from projects designed mostly by other people. Sometimes it’s nice to have someone else nudge me in a new direction, creatively. I will continue to add them as I do/ photograph them, so continue to check back.

These assignments are from Learning to Love You More, Kerri Smith’s art starters, like 100 ideas, Art House Co-op’s weekly projects and Long Distance. Long Distance is something that Matt and I did this past summer (2009), creating projects for each other designed to make us think and explore. I invite everyone to join in on any or all of these projects.

100 ideas, #15: Record an overheard conversation
(I wish this was a joke…)

” Dude! It was like a normal travel agency, but all the photos were, like, of people doing keg-stands underwater!”
“Awesome!”
“Hey, you guys want a beer?”

Long Distance, Weekend One, Assignment 2: Draw an Unusual Mailbox

I joined Art House Co-op and signed up for the sketchbook project. The theme I was assigned is “my life in a yellow submarine.” I couldn’t be happier. I feel like artists aren’t really supposed to have favorite colors, but mine is yellow and I have some great ideas for this sketchbook.

Art House Co-op, weekly projects, week 1:  build a waterfall in your sink
