While in St John, we did a fair amount of driving. To beaches, from beaches. Up mountains, down mountains. Etc.

The radio stations there are crazy. Only about four came in on the car radio. My brother (riding shotgun) preferred the reggae station. “The Mongoose.” It mostly only came in at higher altitudes and the DJs liked to pause songs to shout things… And then begin them again from the same point where they left off. They would do this three or four times in a row before letting the song play or stopping it for good. At any given time, there was roughly a 50% chance to hear “Night Nurse” by Gregory Isaacs.
