In preparation for the natural dying class I’ll be co-teaching tomorrow through Carrboro Greenspace, I’ve been reading up and working on dye samples. I think it’s going to be a really great class. We will be teaching kitchen safe dyes that go from color to compost in colors ranging from subtle to saturated.

Silks have been coming out the best (no surprise there), but I’ve also gotten some very nice shades on gingham and some slinky bamboo yarn.
